Excuses 3 was also a high-school endeavor which ran for 20 editions from September 2001 until February 2002. It was distributed by email, which turned out to be a lot more trouble than I had hoped. I simply had too much life going on at the time, and wound up canceling it prematurely. Edition 15 was somehow lost along the way and I somehow recovered most but not all of it. If anyone still has the original Edition 15 of Excuses 3, I would be forever in your debt.
This version of Excuses debuted Embarrassing Ways you could Die, which seems to be a very popular part of the publication. Also added were a Quote of the Week, as well as a little more color. I keep trying to pretend this is an old-fashioned handbill, but by 2011 it became time to give up on that theory. Excuses 3 also has a tendency to offer less realistic options, but it’s not as if these were intended to be taken seriously anyhow.
